The North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network, Inc. is a non-profit, non-denominational, charitable organization for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network, Inc.’s mission is to provide safe shelter and support services for all survivors of domestic violence, their children, and survivors of sexual assault; promote community awareness and education to help prevent and break the cycle of violence; provide an environment of encouragement, compassion, and support for all survivors.
Since 1986, The North Georgia Mountain Crisis Network, Inc. has been serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Fannin, Gilmer, and Pickens Counties. We offer an environment of encouragement, compassion, support, and safe shelter. Funding provided ensures our organization the ability to staff a twelve bed confidential shelter, operate a 24/7 crisis hotline, and provide advocacy, outreach services, education, and training.
Throughout our service area, the NGMCN has partnered with community agencies, churches, schools, civic groups, and individuals to assist men, women, and children in need of shelter, safety, and support. Building on three decades of sexual assault advocacy, legal advocacy, safe house residency, and community outreach & education, we move forward with the continued belief that love shouldn't hurt.
